Formed in 2005, Women United is a powerful collaboration of women committed to significantly improving the quality of life for the children in Allen County by ensuring their readiness for kindergarten. Dedicated to making a difference through focused philanthropic giving, advocacy, and volunteerism, Women United is an affinity group of United Way of Allen County.
Women United proceeds fund early childhood programs such as United Way’s Kindergarten Countdown, the State of Indiana’s On My Way Pre-K program and provides grant monies to early childhood centers to advance the cause of high-quality care. The women of this group bring passion, wisdom and expertise to get things done.
Doing Powerful Things
Women United members are on a mission to change lives and help build a solid future for our community's most vulnerable population. Women United embraces giving, advocating, and volunteering to make a powerful difference in our community. Each dollar raised, each letter to a legislator, and each connection pushes forward in finding local solutions.
