United Way of Allen County addresses the community’s most critical needs by directing resources to urgent challenges while sustaining broader community impact. We focus on improving the quality of life for households struggling to meet basic needs, particularly ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families, who represent nearly 40% of households in Allen County. Through strong partnerships, we advance coordinated initiatives that serve ALICE households and other underserved populations, with a strategic focus on housing stability and food security, while continuing to support educational opportunities and mental health access.
