In 2023, we celebrated our 32nd anniversary of Day of Caring. More than 1,600 volunteers participated in 68 community service projects in Allen County. Day of Caring projects included various tasks such as cleaning, landscaping, painting, supply drives, and general maintenance. The completed work was done at non-profit agencies, schools, private residences recommended by NeighborLink, trails, and other community areas in need.

Team applications are for those who want to participate in a community service project.

Project applications are for those who have a project they would like to have completed.

Times and locations of volunteer projects are dependent on project selected and team’s preferences. MORE DETAILS FORTHCOMING.

PROJECT AND TEAM APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSED. SPONSORSHIPS OPEN UNTIL JULY 5TH.

“Most of our team had never participated in Day of Caring, so they weren't sure what to expect. Several of them came up to me at the end of the day and told me what a great day it was for them. This is after working all day pulling weeds and hauling mulch. Several of them were excited to learn about landscaping techniques and how to use tools.”
