Marilyn Moran-Townsend is co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CVC Communications – Business Storytellers©. CVC is a certified woman-owned company headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana. For 40+ years, the company has served local and global corporations by skilling-up their employees and sales force through highly engaging, highly interactive, media-rich, custom eLearning.

In addition to her executive duties, Marilyn provides presentation coaching for corporate executives, candidates and celebrities, including Olympic Gold Medalist Rulon Gardner, and Lisa Beamer (the spouse of Flight 93 hero Todd Beamer).

Marilyn’s record of servant leadership is wide and deep, having served 45-plus state and local organizations, boards and advisory councils. She has chaired the Indiana Chamber, the Indiana Chamber Foundation, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education; Allen County United Way, Parkview Hospital, Better Business Bureau Foundation, Elevate Northeast Indiana, Invent Tomorrow, and YWCA Circle of Women. She remains a Director Emeritus of both the Indiana Chamber and Allen County United Way Boards.

In 2004, Marilyn received the Sagamore of the Wabash, the Governor’s highest award, for her contribution to her State and her community. She’s the former State Small Business Person of the Year, Indiana Entrepreneur of the Year, Indiana Business Leader of the Year; Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International, and Marilyn and her 3 co-founders of AVOW Advancing Voices Of Women were named 2018 Citizen of the Year for Fort Wayne.
