Volunteer Spotlight

“Create vehicles that drive you.” ~ Pharrell Williams

That is one of Javon Bell’s favorite quotes as of late. He believes it is important to have a mission and goals that keep propelling one more and more forward in life. As someone who works daily with machines, it is an apt quote. Javon Bell is a web designer and developer who has lived in Fort Wayne since 2008. Javon owns his own local business called Bellaire Studio that helps companies improve upon their web design and web development. It is rare that you do not find him in front of his computer screen, but when he isn’t working, he’s spending time with his family, a wife and seven-year-old daughter, as well as investing time into the Fort Wayne community.

Javon is one of United Way of Allen County’s most committed volunteers, having served on the Marketing Committee since 2016. Currently, he sits as Chair of the Marketing Committee as well as serving on the United Way Board of Directors. Javon is passionate about the service that he does for United Way of Allen County and United Way’s place in the greater community. He says,“it has a special place in my heart. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to see first hand the impact United Way has had as the building block for a supportive community here in Allen County.”

Javon is the kind of man who doesn’t see the forest for the trees but rather he likes to look at the bigger picture. That is why he feels so passionate about volunteering at United Way of Allen County – he wants to take a look at the bigger picture of what is hindering peoples’ growth in this community and help to put supports in place that will make it a more viable place to live. A compassionate and determined individual, Fort Wayne is lucky to have such a great force for good in the community.

Due to Javon’s professional experiences and his personal experiences, he is a crucial member of our Board of Directors and Marketing Committee. Javon hopes that Allen County will continue to prosper as it has as and he hopes to continue to make a positive impact in our community.

Thank you, Javon, for your dedication and commitment to making Allen County a better place to live, work, and play.
