Ta Gay Htoo

Ta Gay joined United Way of Allen County on October 24^th, 2022, as the Community Impact Coordinator. In 2023, she transitioned to Community Impact Manager to also oversee volunteer engagement with the organization. She was born in Myanmar and lived in a refugee camp in Thailand for more than 10 years due to the conflict in her country. She moved the United States in 2006 with her family and started her new life. Ta Gay attended University of Southern Indiana in Evansville and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Global Studies. After she graduated, she joined the Peace Corps and after that, she worked at Ivy Tech with TRIO Student Support Services. She is ready to take on her new journey with United Way of Allen County.
