United Way of Allen Country Selects Executive Director

FORT WAYNE [July 30, 2024] – United Way of Allen County is pleased to announce the appointment of Brandi Buck as its new Executive Director. Buck, who has been a dedicated member of the organization since 2018, was most recently the Chief Operating Officer. Her appointment was unanimously approved by the Executive Committee.
Buck brings a wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to the role. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management from DeVry University, class of 2002. Her leadership and dedication have been evident throughout her tenure at United Way of Allen County.
“I am truly humbled by the confidence the Executive Committee has in me to lead this organization,” said Buck. “I vow to listen often, learn daily, and lead with a heart of service.”
Brandi Buck will succeed Robert Haworth. Under her leadership, United Way of Allen County will continue its mission to create long-lasting changes by boldly impacting critical community issues addressing educational opportunities, food insecurity, housing stability and mental health.
The search for a new leader has concluded successfully, and United Way of Allen County is poised to move forward with renewed vigor and dedication to its mission.
