Jennifer Rutkowski-Smith

Jennifer Rutkowski-Smith joined the United Way in January 2023 as the Homelessness Strategy Manager in partnership with the City of Fort Wayne. She has over 20 years of leadership experience in local non-profits. She holds a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University and a Master of Public Management from Indiana University- Fort Wayne. She believes in advocating for those who need support and modeling to build their skills. Jennifer enjoys spending time with family, including two mutts at home. She’ll travel almost anywhere as life allows, and if not, always has a book in her TBR pile or an unfinished craft project.
