Join us for an Early Education Advocacy Event!
January 18, 2017
5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Club Soda

Early education is the passion of United Way's Women United affinity group. Thousands of children are on waiting lists because their parents cannot afford pre-K and they were unable to get into pre-K through the lottery process. This is an issue that Hoosiers across the political spectrum agree, with 71 percent of Indiana voters supporting a proposal to increase funding to help 4-year-olds in low- to moderate-income families attend quality pre-K programs. We know that access to quality early childhood education, such as pre-K, results in better academic success in elementary school.

Please join us to make your voice heard about this important topic. RSVP to Cyndi Niezer at or call her at 260.469.4005

Formed in 2005, Women United is a powerful collaboration of women committed to significantly improving the quality of life for the children in Allen County by ensuring their readiness for kindergarten. We are dedicated to making a difference through focused philanthropic giving, advocacy and volunteerism. Women United proceeds fund early childhood programs such as United Way's Kindergarten Countdown, the State of Indiana's On My Way Pre-K Pilot program and provide grant money to early childhood centers to help them
