Our Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will assist the Director of Finance in assuring the financial integrity of United Way of Allen County (UWAC). Ensure that all accounting is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for non-profit organizations, as well as meeting United Way Worldwide standards and UWAC’s internal policies and procedures. The Staff Accountant will also as backup to the Director of Finance.

This position requires an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and 1-2 years previous accounting and/or bookkeeping experience. Nonprofit experience is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and related experience will certainly be considered.
