Nyein Chan

Nyein Chan, a former refugee from Burma, experiences as a displaced person and émigré, began his career with Catholic Charities in 2000. He is now the Director of Refugee Resettlement Services. Nyein believes that creating a world where immigrants, refugees, migrants, and people on the move are treated with dignity, respect, welcome, and belonging. “I enjoy helping individuals and families because I get to watch them grow overtime.” Nyein holds Master’s Degree in organizational leadership. Nyein also serves on local boards and tasks forces.
