Gary Duff

Gary Duff grew up in Carthage, Indiana and attended Knightstown High School. He began his GM career in 1986 as a co-op student at the Indianapolis Truck and Bus Stamping Plant while receiving a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from GMI Engineering and Management Institute; now Kettering University (1991). He later received a master’s degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University (2000) while he was working at the GM facility in Marion, Indiana. Gary has worked in several GM manufacturing sites in the U.S. and Canada, and held the position of Plant Manager at the Fort Wayne Assembly plant. Gary has worked with the United Way in Flint, Michigan, where he was an active member of the Impact Cabinet for the Genesee County United Way. Gary is married and has a daughter and son who are both graduates of the University of Michigan. In his free time, Gary likes to play golf and enjoy vacations with his family.
