United Way Welcomes New Board Members

United Way of Allen County welcomes two new board members to its Board of Directors. Ruth Stone and Lawrence J. Mayers joined the United Way board this month. Ruth Stone has been an active community volunteer for 16 years in Fort Wayne and is currently on staff at IPFW as Project Manager of Tapestry: A Day for Women. Lawrence J. Mayers has 25 years of banking experience and is currently employed by 1st Source Bank.

 
New Board officers also took their positions this month. Ronald Turpin of Lincoln Financial Group is President; Wendy Davis of Beckman Lawson is Secretary; Greg Johnson of Fort Wayne Newspapers is Treasurer; Irene Walters of IPFW is Past Chair; and Debra Williams of Parkview Health is the Chair Elect.
