United Way Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the lifeblood of United Way and its agency partners. Non-profit organizations could not survive without them.

Many opportunities to give back to your community exist at United Way. They include serving on teams to help decide where your money goes; working with task forces to study issues that affect all of us; assisting UWAC in conducting training seminars; volunteering to help raise money during the annual campaign, or serving as a Campaign Manager. E-mail Mary Tyndall at maryt@uwacin.org for more information about volunteering or call 260.422.4776.

Community Volunteer Opportunities

United Way partners with NeighborLink for volunteer opportunities. If citizens need a project completed, such as yardwork, the project can be posted and volunteer groups can choose to help complete the project. United Way encourages individuals needing help with projects to contact NeighborLink. Individuals seeking community service projects should also contact Neighborlink at http://www.neighborlinkfortwayne.org.

In addition, volunteer opportunities exist at our 37 agency partners  or, for community volunteer opportunities, follow these links:
